Lucky Paws was started by folks who are absolutely bonkers about rescue dogs and are on a mission to help as many pups as possible find their tail-wagging forever homes.
We team up with four amazing rescuers in North Macedonia each with their own quirky collection of dogs. We're all about building honest and trustworthy partnerships with our rescuers, so we can effectively match every dog with the perfect home.
We're not your average rescue organization with a laundry list of rules about who can adopt from us. We believe that dogs can live their best lives no matter where they call home. We've placed dogs in apartments, homes without gardens, and even caravans! And guess what? They've thrived!
We've got a bunch of dogs just waiting to crash on your couch and steal your snacks! We can't promise a specific breed, colour, or personality, but we can guarantee a furry friend who desperately wants a second chance and a forever home.
If you're looking for a dog that instantly bursts with energy, affection, and playfulness, our dogs might not be the best match. however, with some patience and understanding, they will eventually shower you with immense love and loyalty.

I was kept informed every step of the way and even got to track the "Happy Bus," which was incredibly organized from North Macedonia to the UK, straight to my front door. Adopting Elise has been an absolutely amazing experience. There must have been an awful lot of hard work going on behind the scenes, and it certainly pays off. Support is always on hand from the adopters' chat and admin, day and night!

After my old dog passed away, I was looking for a small dog to adopt. Without a garden, I struggled to find a rescue that would allow me a dog. Then I discovered Lucky Paws and the beautiful Demi. The adoption process was very easy, from getting in touch to filling out the application. After a home check, I was accepted! I paid the deposit and was added to a Facebook group chat where I received plenty of updates, information, and advice. The admin team were fantastic and made the whole process so easy. Demi is lovely, and I am so grateful to the Lucky Paws team.
